University of California, Berkeley I am a scholar-practitioner working to understand the structure of social inequality and build community empowerment.
I hold a PhD in sociology from UC Berkeley. My current projects focus on understanding the organizational dynamics of academic protest against the war in Gaza and measuring the impact of resilience-building work among BIPOC farmers. I am also preparing a book manuscript on organizations and antislavery activism in 19th century America. I am a mother to four children, and I am committed to striving for a more just future. |
